Treasure Hunt 1

Here are my boys at our first checkpoint in Göteborg's health program. We received a map in the mail with 60 spots to visit. Then you can report the code on the pole and that gets you a lottery ticket. Check it out at

A Busy Weekend

Espen probably could have started wearing bigger clothes a while ago although I still haven't put away the smaller ones and replaced them with bigger ones in his closet. Maybe postponing using the next size helps slow down time. I am trying to make the most of my time with Espen but it just whizzes by. This cute blue and white outfit was a gift from friends and the picture was taken at the local indoor public pool yesterday after our swim. I never would have posted a fuzzy out of focus photo before but with Espen in the picture, it is definitely worth showing anyway! Does your heart flutter at the sight of this cutie pie like mine does?

Yesterday Espen's "bestest cousin" made us Swedish pancakes for dinner. Yum! Today we went on Espen's first "quiz walk", not that he was too excited about it. His very bestest cousin did a much better job of reading and answering the questions. Afterwards we had hot dogs and cinnamon rolls. After that we raced over to a birthday party with a little friend who just turned one. We met at the local pool a few weeks ago and ran into each other there again yesterday, and were invited to a wonderful garden party. So now we have met with our clothes on :) Unfortunately, I already had plans for the afternoon so we couldn't stay. When we got back to the car we just barely avoided getting a parking ticket!

Next stop: Pick up the sister missionaries downtown to go visit a sister in the ward that I have contact with. We were invited over to do some yard work and barbecue. It turns out we skipped the planting and painting and went straight to firing up the grill. Meanwhile, Espen snacked on some grass and apparently something bit me. Sister Brown cooked the chicken to perfection and "a good time was had by all".
