It's amazing how these little guys can be so small and still so perfect. They remind me of Espen when he was born.

Wonders of Nature
Have you seen these tiny tiny frogs out at Sisjön? They're everywhere! If you keep an eye out you'll see them crossing the trail all around you. Unfortunately, it can be hard to avoid stepping on them.

Treasure Hunt 1
Here are my boys at our first checkpoint in Göteborg's health program. We received a map in the mail with 60 spots to visit. Then you can report the code on the pole and that gets you a lottery ticket. Check it out at

An evening walk
Thursday was a slow day, mainly spent indoors, until a good friend invited me on a walk. It was too tempting to say no and wild horses, dirty dishes or piles of laundry couldn't keep me away.
We have traded cars with my father-in-law for the weekend so I wasn't sure I could make it. You see, he drives an automatic while I have only ever driven a stick shift. Besides that, you have to do everything just right to get those wheels to move an inch. I was definitely willing to give it a try, though.
Luckily, I didn't have to adjust the seat or rear view mirrors and somehow I found the keyhole. Suddenly, I managed to get that kitty purring and moving. I was so pleased with myself I forgot where I was headed and took a wrong turn, putting me on the highway.
I did arrive eventually and like the local paper in Stamford, NY apparently used to conclude; a good time was had by all.

God's Green Earth
I walked around in a t-shirt all day today. Those of you who know me, know that means it must have been pretty warm out and not very windy. In fact, I got a sunburn. Not a cute one on my cheeks; my forehead is all red. First, Espen and I took a long walk with a new friend, and later we took the ferry to an island in the archipelago where we took another long walk with Pål and guests from overseas.

It's Spring!
Paul pushed the baby carriage on a refreshing walk today, while I kept my eyes open for signs of spring. Besides the flora and fauna below, we noticed that some sidewalks had been swept clean and that the sun felt warm again, even from behind some thin clouds. It was only about 5C (40F) out but it is definitely spring now!!
